i have a 03 gt and my check engine light is on when i go to get a inspection it wont pass because of that well if i buy the o2 sensor eliminator from AM i know it will turn off the light but will it allow the car to pass PLEASE HELP

 

Man I didnt know Texas has inspections! I guess it would all depend on if its a lean or rich run code. If you know anyone in a shop have them scan it for ya.

 

Is it on because of an o/r pipe or cause its a bad o2?

 

I think even with MIL you will still fail for the system not ready.

 

do you live in SA?

 

do you know why the light is on? is it for sure a o2 sensor? if you are worried about it passing have it fixed.

 

i have the eliminators and it still didnt turn my light off..i had to take it to a shop and get it turned off...i gave the guy at emissions 20 bucks and he passed me...i put his 20 under the bathroom trashcan and he went and picked it up and gave me a paper saying passed.
