Default rebuilding sohc?

I am lookin to build something that can take boost. and i was told that the stock rods cant take more then 400hp

what are the limits of the pistons??? Hypereutectic??
anyone use ebay rods???
my crank and rods are in good condition. i have the pi-heads and pi intake. i know it needs to built good cause the vortech is pushing 12-14psi.

i have a block with less then 1000 miles that took a crap. pistons too a crap.

ebay parts could end up costing you much more money in the end. Go with Mahle pistons and Manley rods. That will keep your engine happy

Yes - look into Modular Mustang Racing.com they are excellent quality and pricing. Don't scimp out on rotating assembly or build especially if you looking to make much more power via F/I. I don't recommend you use stock parts or ebay **** go with Manley pistons and rods.

You should replace your rods and pistons if you plan on running more than 425 and want reliability, and not all Ebay parts are bad. Just because something comes off ebay doesn't mean its ****, you can usually get name brand parts such as Manley, and mahle on ebay at a reasonable price as well. Also Mod mustang racing has very good products for reasonable prices.
