What other mods do you have and how much nitrous are going to use? A nitrous cam will be of little to no advantage if you are spraying a relativly small shot (say 125 hp and under). The idea behind a nitrous cam is to give more duration on the intake side, this is done to get more N2O/fuel mix into the chamber. Nitrous cams will also somtimes be refered to as "reverse split duration".
A split duration cams specs would look like this
Intake duration @.050 .231 degrees
Ehxaust duration @.050 .236 degrees

This would be a reverse split cam

Intake duration @.050 .231 degrees
Ehxaust duration @.050 .226 degrees

JD is correct. Not to highjack but, you think 125 shot is a "small" shot?? Woah!

Yea I kinda used put alot of spray at some of my cars, like a 250 plate shot on a progressive controller.

all bolt ons with long tubes off road pipes so all the cheap junk yah just a 125 shot hoping to get 11's even high 11's
I just wonder if i should wait and just do the head cam at the same time??? and just run the spray on the stock cam for now and wait till winter to do all the nitty gritty motor work y pay for labor twice right???

IMO Don't do more than 75 on an unbuilt 4.6. All bolt-ons on 5spd. GT coupe with a cam will put you in the 12's on a DR. So I really don't see the need but for a 75.
