Default Nitrous Window Switch

Is it necessary to get the window switch to control the rpms when the nitrous is used? I have an auto so im not worried about missing a shift but i dont want to go over redline. And is it bad to use the nos before 2500 rpm? Im running a 75 shot wet.

With an auto its not much of an issue, but to set it upright I would use one anyhow. MSD makes a nice digital one that works well and is adjustable. Set it from 3000 to 6000 and get yourself a ZEX TPS switch.

One of the reasons you shouldn't spray right from idle is because of greater increased cylinder pressure.

I personally wouldn't spray before 2500 rpm.

Do what whitefox said... He's speaking from my experience

Yes with an auto I'd run a window switch, its worth the hundred bucks and its very convinient, esp later if u do more stuff, esp to the trans

And **** a 75 shot, I use it just to make sure a kit works... 100 is the way to go

I dont use a window switch. I just make sure i dont punch it right out of the hole. I punch it right about 2500 rpms. Tractions is limited anyway for me with my tires.
