Red face two quick questions...help!

First of all, Ive read alot of different answers to this question and am confused. Is it ok to mix oil brands as long as they're the same weight? I.E. if my car currently has mobile 1 synthetic 5w 20 is it ok to add motorcraft 5w 20?

Second I've got an 02 GT andd my headlights are terrible..they're pointed pretty much straight at the ground and the adjustments are stripped any suggestions?

Yes you can mix oil brands/synthetic and dino oils just fine. You can get some new headlights on ebay for pretty cheap.

Just remember the Mobil 1 is full synthetic, the Motorcraft is a synthetic blend. I wouldn't mix the two, but other people might say differently

Mobil 1(and most others) say there oil is compatible with other oils whether its a dino, a blend or full synthetic.

Me personaly I wouldn't mix full synthetic with reg oil, in a pinch (1or2 quarts) mabey I would use a syn. blend.

Yeah, the only reason I would mix my mobil 1 with anything else would be if I found myself a quart low and that was the only stuff I had around. But you can do it no problem.

Just get new headlights.

Dont mix reg and synthetic - other than that is up to you.

my questions is why mix though? why not just get the same stuff - but one other thing if your leaking fluid or something watch you don't mess with the level of friction modifier in it.

Either loosen the headlights and try to pry them up - or just get new headlights...

Honestly I would only trust what the Oil MFG say to do. If Mobil1 says it is OK to mix than it is OK to Mix. Other wise all your going to get on the Internet is a bunch of people opinions or **** that they are regurgitating
