Looks like you already have a pic in there. Go to the 'my profile' link at the top and scroll down to 'set up profile photo'. From there you can upload you new photo and replace the existing one.

every time i try to do it it tells me my file is too large. How do i make it smaller?

unless someone knows an easier way, you'll need to save it to your computer, open it in a photo editing program (even something as simple as paint can do it) resize it to whatever dimensions you want, and then either host it on your own domain (if you have one) or find someone who will, then link it, unless this forum allows you to upload sig pics? if it does, you'll just need to upload the resized version, and you're good to go

Ya, but the only reason you would need to link it from your site or host is if you want the pic to show up in the body of the post. If you just want it to show up in the profile pic, like ahollings52 said, open it in an image editor sucj as paint, photoshop, or fireworks and shrink the image down. I would try to make the image as big as possible without exceeding the file size requirements, which means you're gonna have to keep it pretty small. Then go to the 'My Profile' link at the top and upload it.
