supercharger question may fit here too

I cant imagine pushing out 350+ hp on a regular basis would increase MPG. From things I have heard if you drive your car conservatively you can maintain your normal MPG or close to it. But romping around all the time wont help at all.

well yeah of course, but that works the same with a turbo, if your WOT all the time, you can expect to WOT to the gas station. but just reg driving. and you said not much of a difference so thats always a good thing.

Ya I dont know what the procharger adds to a cobra so i didnt want to go overboard on HP. But 500+ is a nice number when you want to shut down some ricers. What kind of mileage are you getting now?

well i actually dont' have to good of an idea, the speedo has been off for almost two years now from the 3.73 install, and i just went to 4.10's... so i'm not really sure, and if i put the procharger on stock it'll be 434hp, but i'll have alot of work done to it before she hits the dyno.

Superchargers make the engine more efficient. Add that with good tuning and you can see as much as 2-3 MPG gain.
provided you keep your foot out of it.
When I RoushCharged my 5.4 3v in the F-150, I saw a .5 MPG gain. But then again, I was in the boost alot. When I kept out of the boost and drove like a sensible person, I saw almost a 2 mpg gain
