As for throwing the warranty out the window, thats a dumb idea ecspecially with a Ford. Do the things that the Ford dealership cant tell youve done like gears then after your warranty is up go nuts and buy bolt ons like SC etc...

damn i dident expect to get that much help. hey dan, thanks alot for taking the time to donate some of your knowlege, i am definatley going to take into consideration all of the things you said.

With the matinence aspect of my mods, i have some gear head friends around here who will be able to help me install and check all mods made to my car. after i print out your post and show it to them they wont be able to argue with you( seeing as all of them dont drive mustangs.)

I forgot to mention a torque converter should be something you look into.

I have a 97 GT auto, vert with 3.27 factory gears. But mine was an option as part of a upgrade package. So it used to be 2.73-3.08-or 3.27, but now its not an option....all of the 99-04 had 3.27 no matter what?? Just wonder'n
