Default O2 sensor

with a catless X pipe what becomes of the o2 sensor, iis there a place on the pipe for it to go? does it get a delete kit? iam asking cause i have my check engine light on and its "AUX EXHAUST 14##" and i looked it up and its the sensor on my cat. I looed at proces and they are about 70 bucks to replace so replacing it is my last option , what are my other options if i plan on getting an X pipe in the next 3 months.

-more about x pipes
I have magnapacks welded into the place of my old muffelers. what size is my x pipe going to have to be since i cant get the upgraed size X pipe with new muffler combo like most people get.

who says you cant get the upgraded pipe? and you can get that check engine light to go away with some basic tools.

tools:

Flat black paint
artist paint brush
whatever you need to remove the gauge cluster

directions:

paint over the CEL

You need to put the O2 sensors back into the Off road pipe and buy a set of MILs. The MILs will plug into the rear O2 sensors and control them and the upstream O2's by sending the correct signal to the ECU making it think the emissions are clean.

The X pipe will be a 2 1/2" pipe and a good pipe shop should make a flang that wil connect the two and weld it on to the stock catback.

I had a flange done once going from 2in cat then 2.5 catback all the way to a 2.5 inlet muffler so it went form small pipes to big. With the Stang this would be small pipes then big ( my xpipe) then small again ( my mufflers tips) so its going to open up that exhaust flow only to be compressed again.

On a stock GT you have 2 1/4 piping. If you buy an aftermarket pipe its going to be 2 1/2. So he needs a flange or some welding to be done.
