Default Rear suspension alignment

Changed out my control arms. and the rear end is looking like it is off. The left shock is going straight down, where as the right shock looks like it is kicked out to the right. hung a weight on a piece of rope and used a tape measure. On the left side it measures 7.25 inches from the rope to the axle and then on the other side it measures 5.25. Any recommendations?

Suspension I am installing are:
Baseline upper control arms.
MM adjustable lowers
upper torque box reinforcements and welded the seams on the uppers
welded the seams on the lowers.
baseline anti-roll bar

PHB or WL and torque-arm and will be rid of those darn UCA's and be able to align the axle as well

The UCA's have been known to allow 1" of travel in both directions and exactly where you are currently.

Sounds like bushings are bad and just happens to be off-center that much due to position of car when it was measured. If you were to turn the car around exactly 180*, you may find it off an equal amount, but the other direction.

A PHB or WL will hold your axle on center and takes the place of the UCA's, when in conjuction with a torque-arm. The PHB will have a bit of an arc in its travel, but the WL will hold you 100% center at all times.

k, thank you. Didn't realize it would move that much. Yeah the lowers are all spherical. Then on the uppers one end is spherical and the other side is poly. Ready to get the car off the lift and back on the road.

Did u adjust the new uppers and lowers control arms to the same length as the stock upper and lower control arms? I ask because I was scared of running into this problem so I made sure I measured and adjusted everything and I didn't have a problem.

So... you currently run spherical ends on the UCA's? If so, the shifting STILL makes sense and why a PHB or WL with a TA is the way to go.

correct spherical on the axle side then the poly on the chassis side. That stinks, figured it would be the case it would move around some driving, but the car is still up on the lift. lol should have stayed with the stock control arms.

yes. did by the instructions, 7.25 inches. Counted Threads 2 on axle side, 3 on the chassis side. Same way on the other control arm. probably going to loosen the upper bracket and tighten it back up and with the instructions again and see if it makes a difference.
