Hey Sash, didn't you used to run BFG dr's? Are you looking for more of a street friendly tire that still hooks good?

Of the two, I MUCH prefer the NT01 as it is a cornering tire. I would not go either if you wanted a STRICTLY 1/4 mile tire. In such a case, I would pick up a set of 15" wheels and run some M/T's or something.

Are these going to be DD tires? Year round?

100% ZERO cold weather use, so would need a second set of wheels to run these in MI

^^^Sounds like the NT555 would be what you are looking for (the one Lizzy linked).

thats what i just bought, sitting in my garage in that size. they dont offer much of a normal street tire in that size. I have the 555Rs on the stang now which is in the body shop because of that tire and a large puddle from rain, i wont buy DRs anymore because of the lack of tread so i went with the normal 555s

I have the tires that lizzy posted and i LOVE them... i will probably get the same ones when my tread wears off (tires have been on for about 6k miles? and still no signs of wear)..they hook great. i was able to get a 2.040 60" on them at the track. she can def get to the 1.9 spot, but i dont track too often. great in the rain. great tire all around

If you are looking for longer wear, I am with the above and Lizzy. The tires you linked are real soft and VERY soft so would not get much less mileage from them than the previous BFG's
