i got a 97' Gt with motor and tranny out of an 01' GT. Motor runs fine tranny shifts fine only problem i have is the speedo is off. I know the car's rear end has the 373 gears but the old tranny uses the gear type sensor. And i was told the new tranny uses a different kind. What can i do to fix this? Because if i hook up the old speedo gear i cant go more than 50mph when the car's governer kicks in.

 

well what tranny do you have? if you have the t45 like me and you should for your year unless you swapped it out than just buy the little speedo gear its not more than like 10 bucks i think and put it in. If its not that you need the speedo recal or a tuner to fix it.
