Ok yea this has me motivated to get this done. The noise is getting really bad, it grinds like a bitch every single time I hit that spot now. Cliffy I read your article and I think i'm gonna hacksaw a 1/6th of an inch off like you did even though you said you would have done less. I need to buy a 1/2 inch to 3/8ths inch adapter for my torque wrench to get it done.

Hangwire, you gotta do this. I drove to work this morning at highway speeds (70 to 80 mph) and there was no shake at all - i had been getting some shaking on the steering wheel at those speeds, its like brand-new now
