Before attempting this make shure you have another form of transportation to get where you need to go. This is not a weekend job for even the mechanically sound person. Make sure you have everything you need before you tear your engine apart. Floating around on Ebay is a head changeing kit that includes Gaskets, Heater hose, and other misc items that you will need.

Ok

[b]Parts your going to need include: Assembled PI heads, PI valve covers, PI intake manifold, 99+ heater hose

Some issues with this swap are: Windsor and Romeo heads have different valve covers and front cover bolts. You must relocate the 2nd ECT sensor, if you have a aluminum crossover PI intake then you can drill and tap that for the sensor but if you have the plastic crossover you have to find somewhere else to put the sensor, mine is in a water jacket on the side of the block. As mentioned above you will need the 99+ heater hose pipe to go around the PI manifold.

I think that about covers most of it, if i can think of anything else ill add it.

you can swap the crossover from the NON-PI manifold over to the PI manifold and not have to drill anything. I HAVE DONE THIS

Another big one is the NON PI head cam sprocket bolts do not fit in the PI heads. Gotta get those from a ford Dealer or if you bought your heads used they should come w/ them.

New tech tip: Don't do it....It's really not worth it...either get yourself a 100 shot of nitrous or a new car.

Make no mistake, the car feels awesome now, but the money just stings...

If your gonna do the PI swap, get the heads ported. Its not worth it in my mind putting on upgraded stock parts. Do it right, do it once. The gains will be tremendous with ported heads and a mild cam. Save up a few more bucks and get it done right.
