Default Automatic to manual?

I thought we had a sticky on it? but i cant find it and i need to swap my auto to a manual over the winter because my auto keeps leaking tranny fluid and ive been wanting a reason to do this. so what all do i need?

can i just get a pcm from a manual car?


will i need a throwout bearing,pilot bearing and bellhousing also?

Then you'd need to replace the PATS encoded ignition key and the gauge bezel. It's easier to just get a tune.

Yes, you'll need those as well.

anything else to that list?

im guessing you mean "tune" as in takin out the pcm takin it to a ford dealer and have them do it?

how much does that normally cost?

trans
trans harness
crossmember
clutch
flywell
tune
bellhosuing
adjustable clutch cable
pedal assembly
short throw shifter
trans mount
tune

whats the cheapest place to get a good clutch,flywheel,and bellhousing


also will i need to buy a clutch fork and pressure plate?


what about a driveshaft can i use my stock one?

also my car is a 03 gt will it matter if i get a tranny from a 99? because i see on the clutches they have different one for the 99 - mid 01 and 02-04?

Are you stupid or something, of course you're going to need a clutch fork, common sense.

You could go the route of having a stealership do it but you can have someone that tunes with sct or other do it for cheaper, plus you'll need to adjust all the decay and idle controls anyway.

i have an 03 so does it matter which tranny i go with i was thinking about a t5 because i know a guy that has one what would be a good price for one
