well im going to the strip for the first time w/a friend of mine tommorow night im nervous as hell lol but anyway i was wondering what is the best shift points i have heard 5500 from a few ppl thats where i try to shift at most of the time around 5500 but anyway i was wondering if that is about right any other tips would be appreciated thanks

5500 is about right. That is where ur GT is making peak HP. Do u powershift?

no im afraid to scared to hurt my tranny's life ive kinda tried it real easy though let of to half throttle instead of WOT when i shifted

I am going to knoxville to school (i think i told u this) and i dont want to put alot of miles on it. Plus, people say that u park ur car in a garage, and dont see it or need it for days. I just cant neglect my baby like that. Plus, so bitch will prob jack my cobra R's.lol. Im investing the money and when i get out of college, ill have enough for a good chunk of an 03 cobra.

yea thats cool ive considered getting a and old 240sx or integ under 3k just to take to college so i defintnely undesrtand all i know is that if i come back afte rthe first semester and the stang is albanged up im getting a beater to drive to school lol

Im takin my 97 f150 4x4. It will be hell on gas, but i wont have to worry about anybody takin the stock wheels or crappy radio.
