theres a dark charcoal color that comes on the new mustangs, i remember someone on here having a like 01 saleen convertible for sale.. thats the color i need to find! anyone know what it is or have a picture of it?

 

if im thinking of the same thing its called something like "mineral grey metallic" or "dark mineral grey metallic" or something like that.

i kept searching and dark shadow grey seems to be the winner. so maybe i dont know anything judging from my last post. BUT...if you go to build an 05 on the ford website...its mineral grey...so maybe im not on crack...who knows.

According to the World Color Chip Booklet, there area few dark grey-like colors available. Paint code CX is called dark shadow gunmetal grey effect. Paint code TK is called mineral grey effect. Both are Ford colors for 2005, but you will need to find the color on the car and look on the drivers door or 1/4 panel jamb for the proper code.

Dark Shadow Grey was used on 2003-2005 Mustangs, before that it was Mineral Grey, and I'm not sure if they're still offering a dark gray for 2006...

 

that 03+ gray looks very sharp, i was looking at a 03 gt in that color, at a ford dealership last week.
