Default 99 cobra lights flicker and pulse

have a 99 cobra procharged 6 speed 4 10 rearend the head lights interior and dash lights flicker and pulse any ideas dont think its in charging system it holds constant voltage

Check the grounds starting at the battery sounds like you might have a corroded battery cable

ok pulled all ground cleaned made sure they were tight man there is a lot of them cleaned bat term. still flickering decided to pull alt. pulled three oin conector and terms were all dirty cleaned up and put on new di-elec and so far no flicker think this was prob seems pretty easy fix

ok got home from work went in garage fired car up still flickering seems to do it worse when car is cold on first start up

Flickering usually indicates a failing voltage regulator in the alternator.

ok voltage stays constant but my amps jump from 3.5 to 6 im checking thf cable that goes from termanal to fuse box cable to starter shows 0 amps so would this still be a regulator issue also i can wiggle 3 pin plug going to alt and seems to stop for short period of time
