no timing. Strokers are over valued. 9:1 is a good compression

Make sure you have enough fuel.

What's your setup?

You won't need 15 psi to reach your goal of 500 rwhp especially if you go w/ a stroker kit. You buying new heads as well? Why only 500 rwhp? If you plan on 500 rwhp or a bit more you need to upgrade your fuel lines, dual pumps, etc plus injectors and new meter blah blah. If you spend money for this then your goal should be 550-600 rwhp. Either way, I don't recommend a 500 rwhp car for daily driver....

Don't for get suspension, tires DRs, tranny, and brakes. You got to put that power to the ground otherwise it is worthless. Good luck with your build.

Ya, fuel system is a must. Other than that you should be fine as long as you have the motor to back it. I'll be over 500rwhp on a DD i don't see how its really a problem.

500 rwhp for a daily driver won't be a problem per say, except if you are going to spend $$$ to attain this goal it is silly in my opinion as a daily driver for many reasons: add fuel costs is going to kill you at the pumps, daily driver ability meaning dealing with that power, with 4.10s, 5 speed, traction in the rain, blah blah blah.

My car gets 160-170 miles per tank approximately 12 miles to gallon. Amount of money I am saving per month in gas covers my lease payment for my daily driver.

Valid points. I was just referring to the fact that it is possible and shouldn't be a deciding factor.

i know i well spend a lot of mony . but my problem it's the compression . it should be less than the factor(9.4:1)-(8.6:1) because i well put a huge boost in the engine. so this is my idea is it right or wrong. and abut the fule( inj.- line ) it's well be with the kenne bell supercharger .

go with a forged bottem end. mmr, dss, chp, etc. the mmr pro 600 right now is 1799.99 for a short block that will hold up to 600 hp. if your looking for a 500 goal, i would purchase that, stick your heads and cams on top and throw a kb with a smaller pulley (i have a vortech with a 3.33[10psi], so like a 2.9 for 15 psi and call it a day.

building up your daily driver is dumb unless your just flush with cash, this is my opinion because I have been there and done that, and now that I have a dedicated project car, I am much happier.
