Default how much hp can top end handle

i was wondering how much the top end can handle on my car, like if i got the bottom end forged and left it with the stock heads and intake, im asking because i plan on getting a new bottom end from mmr but to change the top end is pretty much double the price.I know it would be better to do everything at the same time but the bottom end was like 4k and the total motor was about 13k, just seeing if i have to change the heads and such,i was thinking going into the 600rwhp range
thanks

Pretty sure you'll have to do heads and cams to get that hp goal. It'll make it much easier to reach that level, anyway.

The top end can handle more power then other parts. You might want to get new heads. And as far as the intake system. Youll need to upgrade them or else youll be losing hp due to not getting enough gas and air in the engine. But they will hold up just not perform for you at those HP levels.

I'm gonna be around that power level with ported heads, tb, plenum and just crank the boost up making sure I don't get belt slip with an overdrive pulley or 8 rib kit.

I'm being completely serious. I am at the cross-roads of trying to see if I need to get heads/cams but really would be hard to afford it. What you said lets me feel confident to see what I can get out of it now

i was thinking about doing the bottom end first and then starting to do the top end, i have alot of reading and stuff to look at because i wanna do it myself, but i think its easier to buy a block off of mmr and build that up.
