ignition switch

I can not remove my key from the switch. My 97 GT will start, run, and I can turn it off. the switch will not turn all the way back so I can remove the key. ?????

jiggle the wheel while you try to turn the key back... it has to do with the steering wheel lot being "locked" im pretty sure

thanks for advise , actually I wiggled the transmission shifter and the key was able to turn off.
