Bump. can anyone answer this?

 

well i did find that the valley is shallower and has 2 knock sensor locations, but im not sure if this will hinder me from bolting on the stock intake... another thing else anyone knows?

 

Go to www.car-part.com you would be surprised how many Mustang 4.6's you can find at yards that are close to you. I personally wouldn't wast my time with that swap. Anytime you swap something that is not a direct swap there are a million little things that add up and in the end almost never are the cheaper option. just my .02 and experience

 

yea thats where ive found most of my stuff. and if you read my 2nd post youd know why im not going for a mustang motor

 

Put a 5.4 in since your swappin out anyway. Shouldn't be toooooooo hard.

 

if i wanted a 5.4 i wouldnt have asked about the 4.6
