Shift Kit Help
Hey to all, im new to the whole mustang forums. My problem is the following.
I own a 01 GT with a trans go shift kit that i just installed about a month ago, now my 1-2 shift is soft and long it feels like stock, i noticed that a fuse blew that controlled the overdrive. the rest of the shfits are firm and clean. Will Low/High ATF cause this, and also what is the proper way to check the ATF with car on or off, hot or cold in park or netrual???
Thanks to all.

with it running and hot.you could of nicked the 1-2 accumulator piston seal.did you install the springs right.to get a good 1-2 you can take the springs out and it will firm them up.also inspect the 1-2 acc.cover for a cut seal.
^ thanks
but i dont think i could have nicked it, it was shiftting firm for like the first week or so....if im not wrong the 1-2 accumulator is the one with the big clip, i actually added a spring and a spacer, thats what the instruction said for a firmer shift
p.s what could have caused the fuse to pop??

+2 engine, tranny warm- leave it running in park while u check ATF level. If u had a shop do the install they can make adjustments. My last ride went back twice to soften up 1-2nd shift. It was barking 2nd at quarter throttle, could'nt drink anything in the vehicle or you'd be wearing it. Hope U get it sorted out.
