Starting problem?
#11
sounds like the battery not a starter to me, i just had the same exact problem. took the battery to autozone and threw it on their tester, was fine at first but then as soon as the test actually started it dropped and would come back up then drop again, not enough to get the spark flowin, just a click.

Well if you said the battery, you were right but if you said starter... you are also probably right. I replaced the battery as it tested bad under load, but the car still failed to start. I still haven't had time to do anything else, as well as the fact that there is 2 ft of snow on the car .

finally got a chance to take a look at it. The connection on the starter looked good, i cleaned them anyway and tried again. Same thing happened as before i replaced the battery, just a click and then battery flatlines. Is this the starter then?
