Default sorry, but another predator question

im getting my predator tomorrow and i want to make sure that when i tune my car it gets done right. i've been runnung 93 octane in my car for the last week to get it ready for the performance tune. my question is when i hook up the predator do i just install the performance tune or do i need to tweek a couple of areas like timing. i'm also installing a jlt cai today, is there a special program in the predator for cai" or is it in the performance tune. i know these questions have been answered hundreds of times. any feedback would be appreciated.

Install the performance tune as is and see how you like it first. You may want to turn off the traction control permanently, many do.

^^^ what he said. Install the tune and drive around for a long time. The Diablo tune will affect all areas of your curve like partial throttle and wide open throttle. I use 91 octane because it's all we have here. You should use the lowest number octane that does not cause knocking.

Later, you may choose to add more timing and fuel but you probably won't gain too much and should really have ET's, dyno or some other method to determine your gains. At some point, you will add timing/fuel and will stop gaining and potentially loose.
