Default bullitt gauges on the way

im friggin excited, just found a bullitt insturment cluster online from a salvage yard in rhode island for 165 to my door. which is reallly cheap. will it work if i just plug it right in or do i need to switch out the circut boards? anyone thats done this before just let me know

It's not gonna be right. It will read the mileage of the car it was taken from.

I checked into it awhile back. You have to send it to the factory and the cost is $75.00

no bs all you do is switch the circuit board, if it was that easy to roll your milage back there would be fraud everywhere. i read on another forum that all you do is switch out the circuit board and its fine. the mialage is stored in the cars computer

I understood it was stored in the computer as well if this was the case all those indiglo gauge clusters would show oooo, I know for a fact that doesnt happen the ecu I believe stores the mileage

Switch your existing gauge electronics to the Bullitt cluster. The car will not start until you do so due to the PATS.

From what I understand, you just switch out the circuit board and you are all set.
