read some of the supercharger stickies if oyu havent already.

1) depends how much boost your running
2) yes, and maybe. depends how small you go from how small you started. if you started with a 4" pulley and dropped to a 3.9" pulley, your going to increase boost slightly but still be under the safe level for the motor.

typically about 9lbs or so is a safe level with cooling on the stock internals.

With the chip from Vortech, no aftercooler and through an automatic transmission I put down 309rwhp and 305 tq. After my dyno tune I put down 329rwph and 327tq with a max of 8.64PSI of boost. I just ordered a power pipe, and will running meth injection down the road.

well i was running 400 rwph and 370 tq with my vortech v2sq H.O. with aftercooler, stock heads, stock mainfold no headers, and stock internals with minor bolts such as a catback, 75 Thottle body and upper plentum with 3.33" pulley I was at 10 PSI and end up blowing my motor after 3,000 plus miles because with 4.10s I reved the pissed out of the motor and ended up cracking top of piston.

If you have a stock motor I recommend 8 psi, good tune, 370 rwhp max to be safe. Also, recommend going with 3.73 gear rather than 4.10s less stress on motor especially in 4th gear.
