alarm install

Default alarm install

im puting a alarm in my cousins 98 mustang gt the place he bought it from sent a list that says what color the wires in the car are that they need to be hooked to and it says that one of them goes to the ignition wire it says its red and light green at the ignition switch harness and i cant seem to find it i just wanted to know if they are correct about the color or not and wanted an idea of where to find the wire

You're going to get F'd in the A, installing this if you're having troubles finding this. Or your instructions suck. Pretty sure there's a large ignition harness under the ignition/steering column.

If you aren't good at wiring or have little experience, take it to an audio shop.

i've done alot of wiring just never an alarm or with any ignition related things and i have the column apart i'm just not sure if they have the right color of the wire written down

This may or may not help you. It's from when I installed a remote starter/remote entry in my old 90 5.0.
