Default Control Arm help......

I am having a shop press out a bad bushing on my 97 GT lower control arm.

I JUST found a new set, of lower control arms, new, for a 2003-2004 cobra, for a very good price.

Are they the same, or is there anything different? (would these new ones affect the ride height of my 97?)

If it is the front lower they will fit. They will not effect ride height but they have better bushings and a better turning radious. If it is the rear lowers they will not fit

The '03~'04 Cobra arms are for an IRS, so there is NO WAY they will fit.

Head out and purchase a set of GOOD LCA's for your ride. By good, I mean, ones that have at LEAST ONE SPHERICAL end on them and personally prefer the torque-box (body) end. If you want your suspension to work well, please do NOT buy a poly/poly LCA.

Once you have a new set of GOOD LCA's, you can then just remove the quad-shocks all together and free up that rear suspension a bit and have a better and more solid handling ride with a bit more NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) that comes from aftermarket upgrades in suspension.
