Lightbulb hmm....

Alright heres he situation... i have a 96 gt.. the 4.6 is tired.. just so happens i have a fresh 390 sitting around and nowhere to put it was wondering if theres anyway to fit that engine into the stang.. i know from carb to pan its deeper then the 4.6 but not as wide.. it looks like ill have plenty of room between the wheels but im wondering how its going to go... and what would i have to do with the trans/rear end? sounds like a lot of work.. unless there are kits i dont know about.. but it also souns like a lot of fun in the long run if anyone has any knowledge on this let me know! im sure its been done. thanks guys!

with enough money and know-how anything is possible.

there was a 460 Build Thread around here. search for that and see what went into doing that in a new edge GT

Advanced Adapters did a lot of things like that... but I don't know if they are even still around as I haven't done anything with them for over 20 years now.
