Default Suggestions for Intercoolers for a Vortech V3?

I recently had a V3 installed and am looking into intercooling it? Any suggestions out there?

CXRacing on ebay is a decent priced/quality kit that needs just a little fabbing/welding.
You still need a blow off valve and a blow though MAF meter such as 05+ style from VMP

There are tons of different intercooler kits out there that will work for your setup, but what price range are you looking in?

If money doesn't matter much, I'd go with the paxton kit

1400+ for that kit not worth it. Trust me I did my homework before I went air-to-air and you just can't beat that quality/price on the CXRacing a-to-a

That's why I put "if money doesn't matter." That's also the price of them new. I have seen them go for less than half that on ebay and forums.

I can't argue with the fact that the paxton kit is expensive as hell though. I wouldn't pay 1400 for an intercooler setup. LOL

Yea 1400 is ridiculous when you still have to do some fabbing work to get it to fit

Very true. Most intercooler kits will require some fabbing up, but for that much money, I'd expect it to install itself! I'd only consider it if I found it used for a good price. I am also considering going with a novi-2000 in the future if the whole KB thing doesn't work out, so this kit would be perfect for me. I do like the fact is seriously cuts down on the necessary plumbing.

I was looking into that one. What was your total cost on it? I definitely am not interested in spending 1400, that's for sure. Did you do the fabbing on your own? How difficult was it? Thanks for the info.
