is your transmission stock? On a stock valve body the 1-2 shift takes about 1 second to happen with 3.27 gears your motor will rev about 1,000 RPMs a second so you need set the shift point below where it is actually going to shift. With 3.73s your motor revs up faster so you will need to reduce the 1-2 shift even more or you will hit the rev limiter at WOT.

I have 4.10 gears and a blower I have my 1-2 set to 4,750 actually shifts at about 5,800, I have my 2-3 set at 5,700 and my 3-4 at 5,300. You need to play with it a little to find the best shift points for your car.

I would read through this write up 2/3 of the way down it explains the 1-2 shift.

http://tccoa.com/articles/tranny/tra...on/page6.shtml

As far as setting your shift points, I would start with stock and see how it does and gradually drop it down.
