Default Rear 02 sensor

Quick question, I just installed a AEM wideband gauge. I have an offroad xpipe and the rear 02 sensors are turned off. My service engine soon light came on and I am getting code P0156 02 Circuit (bank 2, sensor 2) I had just removed 02 sensor and left the wire unplugged, do I need to plug it back in and just zip tie the sensor to secure it?

the code is for a rear driver side O2 sensor, you say they're turned off so it doesn't make any sense. plugging the sensor shouldn't make any difference if they're off, check again and make sure the rears are turned off

Found out the 02 sensors were turned of but not the 02 sensor monitoring, I plugged the sensor back in and zip tied it for now, no codes and the light is off for now.
