Im bidding on a 00gt 2 way flip chip on ebay, and i was wondering if it will work on my 97 cobra. It says it will work for almost all ford modles. But i just wanted to make sure. Thanks.

 

Please explain what a "flip chip" is?

 

Its made by diablo, and its a chip that plugs into your ecu just like anyother chip and is able to have 2 or 3 tunes on it. And u have the ability to adjust it by a switch thats conected to a 5ft cable that comes from the chip.

 

You need the ECU number off of it. Look in your passanger side door and there should be a four digit number in there. I can almost guarentee its not gonna work on your car. I may be wrong. It may not work only if its already been burned to a specific ECU... but its definetly worth looking into.
