Need help Fast

I have a 98 mustnag GT auto. When i start the car it starts up then idles down and cuts off. The car is not running ruff and there is no check engine light what could this be?

there is a sticky about this. Go up about 3 threads and it should be there. Name is "is your 99-04 GT cuting off while idling or crusing.

I haven't read the sticky...but first guess is IAC. Common problem on the 4.6s...all Fords for that matter.

Same thing happened to me 3 weeks ago. I took my IAC off, sprayed it with WD40, then blew the crap out of it with an air hose. It runs perfectly now.
