I have a 85 mm MAF off my friends 02 cobra. curious if it will work on my 03 GT? And if so, what else do I need for it? All i have is the MAF

 

a) there is no 2002 cobra, hurry up and edit that before ppl start going crazy

b) technically, yes, but here's the deal: It's probably calibrated for 24 or 32 lb injectors, whereas your car has 19's. You could have it put on and get a dyno tune, but it's really not worth it.

Perhaps an 03, but it would need to be tuned.

If it is say from a 99 it won't work. 03 MAF contain the IAT sensor to which is seperate on earlier cars.

well his is a newer model non supercharged cobra. i tought 02s werent, an 03 was when they started s/c'n them. maybe 04 was when they started to? I dont know, all i know it was a non supercharged cobra. 4.6 4valve

 

it's a 99 and 00 was the year of the Cobra R. They didn't make cobras in 01-02 because of HP issues with the lower intake manifold on the 99 and 01 cobras.
