I wrecked intoa telephone pole after losing control in the rain, i was going 40 and hit it and the air bags did not come out. I have full coverage along with gap insurance so if my insurance co. totals it, I will not owe a dime to anything, it does not look fixable, the frame is bent bad, the raidator is cracked, power steering is leaking, the drivers valve cover is cracked and leaks oil. What do u guys think? Totaled or fixable?

I thought that is what you pay your insurance for. In case you wreck it. If you have full coverage you will be just fine. This guy probably feels bad about wrecking his car and sure he did not say well guys today Im going to run into a telephone pole. So shut up quickshift02gt. I guess your one of the few that has never wrecked a vehicle before. Why dont we just ship you some socks instead of our stangs.

I don't thinK i understand how there is any chance whatsoever of your insurance covering anything...?

You lost control of the vehicle, either it should have been in a garage somewhere or you need more practice driving in the rain where there is no chance of hurting yourself.

That does suck though. There seems to be a lot of people recently that are wrecking Mustangs because they "lost control". Damn, if people can't drive responsibly just ship me your Mustangs. I'll take care of them for ya

So what happened anyway ?
Its called "full coverage" it means the car is covered in a accident at fault or not, witness or not, look it up, and i know how to drive ******* it just started to rain and i started to spin, the *** end came out and i over corected.

If it was a fluke and it wasn't your fault, then why get so pissed off?

Accidents happen, that's why I asked how it happened...you never said. If you were screwing around and messed up your car, I don't take anything back. But if it was an accident, then of course it doesn't apply. Your insurance would still cover it, your rates would just go up.

I have been in plenty of accidents, totalled 2 cars and been in a couple minor fender-benders. None of them have been my fault, they have been to people not paying attention and being in the wrong spot at the wrong time. So when more and more people are coming onto boards saying they "lost control" of their vehicle and wrecked it...well, I hope it wasn't due to erratic driving in poor conditions or that you made a series of bad decisions. As I said, you never mentioned how it happened in the first place...WHICH IS WHY I ASKED.

If you were driving stupid, then I still say be careful and make your decision wisely in the future. If it was a fluke and something happend, then I understand completely how you feel and I hope everything works out. Hopefully you can get ahead in this and purchase a newer Mustang or something else you desire.

Read more carefull, every single one of you. I never said HE WAS driving irresponsibly...I said more and more people have been saying they "lost control". The implication was there, but once again...that's why I asked. Get off all your thrones and stop being so damn defensive.
