Default RE: Upper/lower control arms

ORIGINAL: jdaniel

Dont pay anyone to put them on. They are easy to install and will take any mechanically inclined person 2.5 to 3 thour to install (upper and lower) with the assistance of a friend. Two hydraulic jacks are extremely helpful as is jack stands. Air tools are recommended but not necessary. Make sure the hardware you get with them are GRADE 8! If not, then use the stock blots and nuts.

Hey JD, how do I know if the bolts areGRADE 8??

As far as the installiation goes, I am haveing a lot of other suspension items put on at the same time, and I just had sugery on my wrist and would not be able to do anything like that for a couple of months. So I am just going to have it all installed at the same time.
