yea i would be a little mad but there is no reason to start a big fight about it better to just sit tight and not worry about it

if I sit tight, it will grow in my head and soon... tumor. And in that thread, I was never trying to start anything, I was just stating facts. anyway, I'm over it now. Apparently some of the 5.0 guys get super defensive over a 4.6 motor comparison.

yea some of them are die hard 5.0 fans well we both know the newer 4.6 will beat 5.0 stock for stock.

I can't really say I agree with you.

I've had both stock '89 5.0 coupe and now have a '00GT, both 5 speeds, and I'd have trouble honestly saying that the '00 is much faster, if at all.

With the 4.10 gears, my '00 runs 0.2sec faster in the 1/4 than my 200K mile 5.0 did with 3.55's.

i would say compare the 3v 4.6 in there, but the 5.0s are faster than those too according to those posts.

I don't think a mach can keep up with some of them stock 5.0's they have.
