starting problems
Hey guys heres the deal. I have a 2000 GT, once about every 10 times i try to start it, it will not start. I put the key in, turn it to on, all my dash lights turn on, i hear the feul pump start, i turn the key more to start it and it just sits there. Doesnt even try to start. It doesnt make a difference if i leave the car sit for a month or i drive it turn it off and then start it, or its wet or dry out. Does this sound like a starter? or possibly an ignition problem?
any suggestions would be helpful
thanks guys

By "doesn't try to start" do you mean it's not "cranking"--I.e. the starter motor isn't turning over?
If so then it is likely a bad starter, or ignition switch, or wiring; in that order of possibility...

Then it's either the starter, ignition switch, or a wiring problem--most likely the starter is worn out and/or gunked up which is preventing the solenoid from pulling in.
Get it fixed before you get stranded someplace..
