Default Online cats source?

Well make a long story short I am currently running a UPR o/r X and magnapack CB. It sounds great, but the interior noise whether it be drone or just sheer volume of noise these mufflers create is getting to be a bit much. My fiance will prob not appreciate it either when I move out to her, SOO....

My option as I see it:
1) Put sound deadener on floor of rear seat, over the hump and under rear seat (where mufflers sit) to kill the noise...quoted ~$250 (Second Skin)

2) Put stock H-pipe (only has 2 front stock cats) back on and bound to kick the noise down but don't want to hinder performance (any that I gained going o/r X which I know is minimal). ~$FREE lol

3) Find some small spun cats online and put them on my current o/r X. Moving to KY so emissions is non-existant. ~$??? (if ones listed below: ~$100 for cats...~$FREE for me to weld them on)

I found these cats...yes cheap, and maybe "get what you pay for" but:

Anyone that has been running these? How do they hold up?

I wouldn't mind killing a little of the rasp the o/r X creates, but still leave a little bit. Which is why I may lean toward making a catted X. I'm also keeping the mufflers the same. And going to a catted X won't kill much if any performance.

Any opinions/thought I haven't come up with are welcome.

Dean

I welded aftermarket hi-flow cats onto my h-pipe, it got alot quieter, still sounds good. (dynomax mufflers on stock tails). needed them for emissions in MA. i think i paid arouns 60$ each off of Eba*. i didn't really notice any loss in power on my combo. i welded them on myself on the car. welding the top of the pipe was a complete PITA. if you can tack them on, then drop the pipe to properly weld it up.

What ebay source did you use? Were they no name cats? How many miles have you had them on for now?

Sorry for bombardment of questions. I'm not so worried about emissions as I'm moving to KY where they don't do it. I'm doing it more for kicking down the interior noise. Plus I have the stock H with 2 stock cats IF I need to pass emissions.

They are dynomax cats. i don't remember the seller off hand, just search they are pretty decent for the price and relatively small in size. no check engine light, so they must be working so far. they have maybe a thousand miles on them so far, car isn't my DD.

I have my rear 02 sensors relocated to the front of my x pipe b/c i got bungs fro free and didn't have to buy extensions. So the cats would be going after the sensors, which i also have MIL eliminators on so the CEL isn't an issue lol

I just didn't want some cats that would fall apart and cause rattling and fly out the back of my car....
