BlackMage it seems to me like you already found and diagnosed your problem... The way it plays out your ground to the frame (From the battery) is faulty. I would start there.

thanks for the help guys, ill try messing around with it tonight and changing out that wire for a heavier one and moving it to a different location to see if that changes anything. And try cleaning up all the contact points for the grounds.

This is an illogical action--it's worked for 7 years with the existing wire gauge and location, there's no sensible reason why all of a sudden a heavier wire and new location would be needed.

And try cleaning up all the contact points for the grounds.
This makes sense...

sorry i wasnt thinking when i wrote that haha. Doesnt sound right to me either now that I read it.

Got the car running last night though. I tried cleaning out the bolt hole and cleaned the metal around the ground wire that i thought was giving me troubles and it didnt help. I then just disconnected it, and put it on another bolt thats right next to it (this ground wire is right in front of the battery) and bingo, car fired right up without hesitation. So bad ground in the end.... Im not sure why cleaning up that one bolt didnt help it though..

WhiteFox -- I actually read that thread awhile back and if it wasnt for that i wouldnt have probably thought of the ground being dead while i was dead in a parking lot, and woulda never thought to use a jumper cable to get me running. So whoever started that thread, thank you!! haha
