Default IRS Rear Shocks

Anybody out there know if the Bilstein rear shocks from an IRS setup will fit a standard straight axle in a 2000 GT???

+1 to that ^^^ They won't fit.

You can pick em up from tire rack (i think) for $100 a piece though...

From as far as I know, they do....

Not for sure on that one though. I do know that the springs won't fit.

Yeah, I know the springs are different, but I thought the shocks were the same??? The reason I want to know is because I have a 2000 GT that needs shocks/struts and I have a pair of bilstein struts from an 03 cobra laying around from another project car, and have seen a few decent deals on used rear shocks off cobras on eBay.

Point of referance...tire rack does list two different part #'s for GT and Cobra.*
Thanks for all your input.*
