Okay, As I was cleaning and re-oiling my filter I realized that the 2 bolts on the bottom and the one bolt on the side wall are gone. I knew this before but I now realize that the rubber bushings for the bolts are gone. Ford has discontinued these parts. Any ideas on what i could do. i would prefer not to have metal on metal. i currently have the BBK CAI and that plate is starting to rattle.

 

Your best bet in order to avoid improvising with stuff you found at Home Depot would be to contact BBK directly to see if they would be willing to ship you out a batch of new hardware and bushings for a small fee. The stuff you're missing is mostly specific to BBK's cai, so they would be the first ones I would call.

 

agreed.. One side of my BBK headers were missing a bolt and nut. Contacted BBK directly, told them my problem and they shipped the bolt/nut to me with no problems..
