Default 2004 Mustang GT Mild idle Flutter

My mustang at idle will flutter after it has warmed up is generally when I notice it. Today I got out of the car and popped the hood to see if I would notice anything. I was hearing a slight noise from the air filter housing, so I pulled the cover off and listened through the tubing and you can hear the fluttering through it. I have cleaned my MAF sensor. I really don't know what to do or what is causing this problem.

Hmmm, troll or not guys? Been alot of IAC questions lately....funnily enough they have all cleaned their MAFs and are brand new usernames. Hmm.

Its your Idle Air Control valve, replace it. Really easy, costs 100 bucks.

I did buy a restrictor plate from ebay about a month ago and when I put it on, the car would not idle at all, it would completely die. This time with the original gasget and no restrictor plate the car will idle on its own fine except for the occasional flutter. What is throwing my off is hearing it through the breather. What could this be?

Does it matter what brand IAC I get or will anything work just as good?

Thanks guys, so y'all think its the IAC. I will get one this weekend. P.S. the car only has 4,500 miles on it.

Wait--at 4500 miles (which have been useful info in the first) it is highly unlikely that the IAC has worn enough to be causing the noise.

Are you 100% sure that what you are hearing is not just plain ol' intake noise?

Also, by "...idle will flutter after it has warmed..." do you mean that the idle is a tiny bit "lumpy"-if so then there's nothing wrong these engines can have a slight "rolling/uneven" idle, mine has been that way since I got it with 30k miles.
