they have dress up kits for your engine if thats what your talking about.. if not what do you mean, just the cai.. what year is your mustang and is it a v6 or v8

You really have to decide what direction to go with your mods. I think that the Densecharger is the best out there (biased, that's what I'm running) and it will probably only get you a couple few HP especially if you don't have other mods that need lots of air (like I really don't either). I do assume however, since the full length, cold air, non-metal version doesn't 'heat' your intake air than more than just 'add' HP it will prevent you from loosing HP in traffic or when waiting for a lane at the track or whatever. Regardless what anybody says, if you are not sucking the coldest possible air, and keeping it as cold as possible (like if you have a cheap metal dryer pipe), then you will loose a couple HP. It's really not that much. If you buy a cheap metal one, will you regret it and wish you had went with a full lengthy Densecharger with aftermarket MAF?
