idles at 3500RPM (clutch in) while rolling
1998 4.6L, 5 SP Manual, stock GT.
No problem when starting out, but after 1/2 hour of driving, the idle speed climbs to 3,500 RPM if I clutch while the car is moving (even slowly - ie: 1 - 3 miles per hour). When the car is fully (totally) stopped, the idle drops to 750 RPM after about 3 - 4 seconds. I drive in the city and there are lots of red lights... This problem is quite annoying.
My dealer gave me the "blank stare look" and suggested changing all sorts of sensors. (They haven't a clue.) Talked to the mechanics on the floor... same answer.
Can you help me focus them on something in particular?

What do you have for mods?
My Steeda MIL's were junk, as soon as I installed them, my idle would hang at random times until the failed completely, my idle went back to normal and my light came on....
Your TPS sensor could be on the way out also.
