Default Dyno pulls

I'm getting my car in a dyno in a few days, the shop that I talked to ask $80 for two pulls. Is that the "average" price? Also he said thats including wideband 02 or something like that. What is that?

$80 ain't to bad but it will be just that, two pulls. No tuning. At most dyno shops, maybe all,you must buy a handheld tuner so that they can download a tune into your PCM.For a custom tune SCT affiliates, maybe Predator and some others will E mail the shop a tune to improve the dyno information that the shop sends them.A wideband O2 sensor gives the air fuel ratio that your car is using at different RPM levels during the pull.It gives an idea if your'e running rich or lean.

Thanks for the info man. So it actually possible to tune the car on the dyno with the predator? What if I keep buying parts like nitrous or a blower or cams, can I still use tunes thru the Predator to tune the car. I don't know how clear was that. Lets say I buy a blower and I want to tune the car on the dyno using the Predator is that possible.

so if you send dyno info to an sct tuner, they can use it to create a custom tune? they don't have to be there to dyno tune it?

Do WHAT??? If you are at a dyno shop that only has handhelds to tune the car, you need to ditch that shop. The shop should have a chip they can install and then custom tune right there in the shop, allowing them to get a much better tune.

Yeah its $75 for 3 pulls + an extra $25 or so for your air/fuel ratio. Since you are getting two pulls + air/fuel $80 is a good price.
