Ive never had a problem with mine. I dont see how it could ruin an engine? I cuts down on how much you accessories take away from crank hp. (i.e water pump, power steering, alternator.) Slap um on. Itll be fine

I ran my car very hard in the Texas heat and never had any problems out of mine. I had the Steedas though... but they're all the same. Just dont run piggybacks.

Just dont run piggybacks.
Which ones are considered non-piggybacks?

The only thing that you might want to consider is if you are running a lot of stereo equiptment (additional subs, amps and all the other stuff that you can throw in there) is up gradeing your alt. so that you are still putting out enough power to power all the extra elec. equiptment. Other than that just stay away from the piggy back type pullies and you will have no problems.

You don't need to upgrade your alternator, a capacitor will solve any charging problems.

No. I safely ran my stock Mach 460 + a 400 watt amp.
