DiabloSport Predator or SCT XCal II???
Probably gonna pull the trigger on a hand-held tuner in the next couple of weeks, and have the playing field narrowed to the DiabloSport Predator or the SCT XCal II. Are there any advantages of one over the other?
Thanks!
Thanks!

The Diablo Predator allows the end user to adjust the following parameters:
* Dual timing adjustment points (2000-4000 RPM / 4000-7000 RPM)
* Timing table (+10% / -40%)
* Dual fuel adjustment points (2000-4000 RPM / 4000-7000 RPM)
* Fuel table (+40% / -15%)
* Idle (+/- 20%)
* Global Timing adder -6 degrees /+4 degrees
* Raise Speed Limiter
* Rev Limiter
* Re-Calibrate Speedometer for Gear and Tire Size Changes
* RPM Shift Points, adjustable via MPH
* Cooling Fan ON/OFF Temperatures
SCT-XCalibrator Multi Program Flasher
* Increases Horsepower, Torque, Gas Mileage & Throttle Reponse
* Pre-Programmed with up to 3 Custom Calibrations specifically for your vehicle
* Retains Factory Calibration for easy restoration back to the stock calibration Easy installation.
* No tools necessary
* Xtreme Personal Tuning Software included (optional programming cable required, sold separately)
* Easy to use push button & LED interface Quickly Flashes PCM via OBD-II diagnostic port
with SCT XCal II the extreme software with the xcal you can modify your tunes... here is a link to it... http://www.sctflash.com/xtreme.php
You download new tunes for the Diablo via the website, so they are really not custom tunes. Now with the xcal, you contact a SCT Dealer who can custom make tunes for mods on your car. Which get the most out of the mods in which you get on your car. Don't get me wrong the Diablo is a good tuner, just Xcal can just be tuned with much more detail.

RE: DiabloSport Predator or SCT XCal II???
There are Diablo CMR dealers who can provide high quality custom tuning just as some SCT dealers can. I have such a custom Predator tune. When it comes to custom tuning, the device used doen't matter at all, it's the quality of the tune written for it. The Predator or the XCal II is simply a means of downloading it.

Does anyone know of a software that you can actually open up the tables and make adjustments. I know SCT makes pro racer, which is like 300 + the price of the tuner. I know that there is uberdata for hondas (which is free) does anyone know of something like this for fords?
